WORK HISTORY:
September 2012 - Present: In June of 2012, New Media & Extended Learning underwent an HR Review of key Personnel. As a result, I was promoted from Administrative Assistant 3 to Adminstrative Coordinator, effective as of September 08, 2012.
January 2001 - September 2012: UNM's New Media & Extended Learning Group. In January of 2001, Media Technology Services was reorganized, and the New Media & Extended Learning Group was formed. I am the Department's Administrative Assistant, and work with Debby Knotts, our Department Manager, with Administrative paperwork such as Hire/Termination forms, record-keeping, Temporary/Part-Time forms for WebCT course instructors, payroll, HTML Coding, as well as secretarial work such as answering phones, directing clients/prospective clients to the proper staff, etc.
September 1996 - January 2001: UNM Media Technology Services. I have been working with computers -- data-entry, graphics programs, and various word processor programs. I also run errands (both on campus and off) for the staff at MTS. I started as a work study, then continued on after I received my Associate's degree as a full-time temporary employee. I have been employed as a full-time staff member since January of 1998.
September 1992 - September 1996: Wal-mart. Responsibilites included working as a cashier, on the floor in a customer service capacity, building bicycles, furniture, and whatever else anyone needed built, and as a stockman (i.e. gathering shopping carts, doing carry outs for customers, etc).
March 1992 - August 1992: Domino's Pizza. Responsibilities included opening the store, delivering pizzas, making them, and helping to close the store as well.
February 1991- March 1992: Godfather's Pizza. Same duties as at Domino's.
September 1989 - December 1990: Econo-Lodge, Grants. Responsibilities included working the front desk checking people in and out, operating the cash register (non-computerized system), and dealing with any problems the customers may have had.
December 1988 - February 1989: Godfather's Pizza. Same duties as the Godfather's position above.
May 1988 - September 1988: House of Pancakes. Waitress.

I am proficient in keyboarding skills, accounting, clerical duties, and working with people. I am familiar with DOS 6.22 operating system, and the following software packages: Microsoft Windows, CorelDraw 4 and 5, Adobe Photoshop 5.0 (Win), Adobe Illustrator 7.0 and 8.0 (Win), Microsoft Office (Win), Netscape Communicator, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and HTML coding.
I own an IBM PC compatible Pentium with a 20 gig hard drive, 64 megs of RAM, 16 bit soundcard, 3.5" floppy drive, and 2 CD-ROM Drives. I am able to do CD-ROM mastering. I also have a HP Deskjet 697 Cse printer. I have full access to the Internet, and am comfortable working with all features of my computer.
I am also familiar with the Macintosh systems, Mac OS-8, and various Macintosh programs.
I have also done some freelance work with Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe PhotoShop. I have created slideshows for clients in PowerPoint, and Logos and most of the background on my webpage in Photoshop. Here are a few examples of some of the professional graphical work I have done.
